This past month, our team had the incredible honor of participating in the annual Disney Extravaganza again this year—an event dedicated to connecting waiting children with hopeful families.
What started as a stormy, uncertain day turned into something truly magical. Just 90 minutes before the event was set to begin, the skies opened up with rain, hail, thunder, and lightning. But then, like a scene from a Disney movie, the clouds parted just in time. Many called it a miracle—and we couldn’t agree more.
This year’s event brought together:
- 141 waiting children
- 62 waiting families
- 150 DCFS staff
- Over 300 volunteers
Our team was deeply moved to be a part of such a hopeful day—one filled with joy, possibility, and connection. We’re so proud to support a cause that works tirelessly until there are zero children waiting for a forever home.
